Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority-Rho Mu Omega Chapter

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (AKA) is the first intercollegiate historically African American sorority, founded on January 15, 1908, at Howard University in Washington, D.C. The Rho Mu Omega Chapter is one of the graduate chapters of the sorority, established to continue the mission of the organization beyond college. The mission of Alpha Kappa Alpha is to promote sisterhood, scholarship, and service, focusing on community service and advocacy for social justice.
