Council on Social Work Education

The Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) is a nonprofit association that represents social work education in the United States. Founded in 1952, CSWE's mission is to promote and maintain the quality of social work education and to support the development of social work professionals. The organization provides accreditation for social work programs, develops educational standards, and offers resources for educators and students in the field of social work. CSWE also engages in advocacy efforts to advance social work education and practice at both the national and state levels.
