The Dr. Howard Hochman Zoological Scholarship is funded by DiCicco/Hochman and aims to honor the life of Dr. Howard Hochman, a passionate veterinarian who dedicated nearly fifty years to the Connecticut Beardsley Zoo and over thirty years to his private practice, Brookside Veterinary Clinic in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The scholarship supports high school and undergraduate students who have a passion for animals and are pursuing careers in zoology or veterinary sciences. Eligible applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate their commitment to impacting the animal world through their studies.
