Northern Maryland Graduate Chapter of Groove Phi Groove SFI, Inc.

The Northern Maryland Graduate Chapter of Groove Phi Groove SFI, Inc. is dedicated to supporting underserved students pursuing higher education, particularly those from underrepresented minority backgrounds. They aim to honor the legacy of Shepherd E. Solomon through the Shepherd E. Solomon Memorial Scholarship, which provides financial assistance to male-identifying high school and undergraduate students in Maryland who demonstrate community service experience. The scholarship seeks to empower these students by alleviating some of the financial burdens associated with higher education, thereby fostering their academic and professional growth.
