Northwest Journalists of Color

Northwest Journalists of Color (NJOC) is an organization dedicated to supporting journalists of color in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. Founded in 2016, NJOC aims to provide a network for journalists of color, promote diversity in media, and advocate for equitable representation in journalism. The organization hosts events, workshops, and networking opportunities to empower its members and enhance their professional development. NJOC also focuses on addressing issues of racial equity within the journalism industry, working to create a more inclusive environment for all journalists.
