The Future Leaders of Maine Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and developing the next generation of leaders in Maine. Established to honor the legacy of Dr. Tom Farrell, who devoted over fifty years to empowering young people through education and mentorship, the foundation aims to inspire students to lead with compassion, courage, and service. Each year, the foundation awards the Dr. Tom Farrell Future Leaders of Maine Scholarship, which provides $15,000 to a graduating high school senior from Maine who plans to attend the University of Maine, reflecting Dr. Farrell's commitment to fostering leadership skills among youth.
