The Pace Family established the Maureen C. Pace Memorial Nursing Scholarship to honor the life and legacy of Maureen C. Pace, a dedicated registered nurse who served in various leadership roles in healthcare, including as Head Nurse of the Emergency Room and Chief Operating Officer of Mount Vernon Hospital. Maureen was passionate about improving patient care and was actively involved in her community, providing support to cancer patients and advocating for innovative healthcare practices. This scholarship aims to support the next generation of nurses pursuing higher education in nursing, reflecting Maureen's values and commitment to the profession.
