United African Organization

The United African Organization (UAO) honors the memory of Sgt. Albert Dono Ware, a soldier who died in Afghanistan in 2009. The organization aims to support African American undergraduate students who demonstrate a commitment to community service through the Sgt. Albert Dono Ware Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship provides financial assistance to students who embody the values of service, sacrifice, and bravery that Sgt. Ware exemplified during his military service.
