• Applicants must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as an undergraduate at a 2- or 4-year college or university.
• Veterans must also identify at least 1 meaningful achievement and how it relates to their chosen field of study and their future goals.
• Children of veterans must also explain how they plan to use their education to make a positive impact in their community.
• Selection is based primarily on the originality, merit, and substantive quality of the essay.
