• Applicants must be 1) regular, full-time employees of a member company or 2) the spouse or dependent children of member utilities' employees.
• Employee applicants must meet eligibility criteria for any tuition aid program the member company might have or, if none exists, must have at least 6 months of company service.
• All applicants must enroll or be enrolled in an approved course of study at an accredited college university in New Jersey and work on a bachelor's degree.
• Selection is based on that essay, academic performance, future potential, school and community participation, work experience, career and educational aspirations and goals, unusual personal or family circumstances, and recommendations.
