• This program is open to seniors who are graduating from high schools in New Jersey and are the children of active-duty police and fire personnel.
• Children of federal law enforcement officers, reserve officers, part-time employees, retired, disabled, or deceased fire and police personnel are not eligible.
• Applicants must be planning to enroll at an accredited college or university in any state.
• Selection is based on an essay of 500 to 1,000 words on what it means to them to have their parent or guardian involved in securing our community (20%), grade average (20%), SAT or ACT scores (20%), community service (25%), and academic prizes, awards, school and outside extra….
