• This program is open to girls graduating from high schools in Iowa who have lettered in basketball for at least 3 years.
• Applicants must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and be planning to enroll at an Iowa college or university.
• They must be nominated by their high school coach.
• Selection is based on that essay, academics (GPA, ACT/SAT scores, class rank), and high school activities.
• Special consideration is given to applicants who 1) plan to major in education, coaching, or pre-medicine; 2) received all-conference or state recognition at least once or played in the Iowa Girl's State Tournament at least 1 year; or 3) can demonstrate financial need.
